Timothy’s life began April 24, 1958, in Toledo, Ohio. Timothy died Saturday, December 21, at Lakeland Regional Medical Center in St. Joseph. He spent his childhood growing up in Ohio, graduating high school in Sylvania, OH. After high school, Timothy proudly served his country in the United States Navy for eight years. After the service, a job opportunity at Cook Nuclear Plant brought him to Southwest Michigan. Outside of work, Timothy enjoyed shooting darts and listening to blog talk radio, and he was the host of Halls of Valhalla radio. He was a member of American Legion Post 225.Timothy’s family includes his wife, Karen (Twitchell) Kerlin; five children, Cecily, Stephanie, Timothy Adam III, Quinn, and Margrethe; two step sons, Travis and Jamie Adams; nine grandchildren; his mom, Anna Kerlin, and four siblings, Mark Aaron, Susan, Rebecca, and Rachael. His dad, Stephen; his uncle, Timothy, and a nephew, Bruce Simon precede him in death.Timothy’s family will celebrate his life with a service in Toledo, OH on Saturday, January 11, from 3-9 p.m. at Fairfield Inn in Watervliet. Timothy’s family will celebrate his life with a service in Toledo, Ohio on Saturday, December 28th, from 1 pm to 6 pm, at Advent Lutheran Church, McCord & Sylvania Ave., Sylvania, Ohio.

There will be a gathering for his Michigan family and friends in Watervliet, MI on January 11th, at the Fairfield Inn from 3 pm to 9 pm.

Mark L Harvey ATTENTION TO ORDERS! Loki will be cremated soon. He was an organ donor and as soon as that is accomplished, Loki will be cremated because that was his wish. Karen will be going to Idaho with her family for the holiday season, Christmas and New Years. When she comes back home, there will be a Loki Memorial on the 11th of January, 2014. She will notify us the when and where location for all of us to attend if we can. Hopefully, we can all be there. I guess I could start walking on the 1st because one way or another, I am going. I hope all of you will go as well. By the way, Karen has already placed the Japanese “puppies” back so she doesn’t have to take care of them like Loki did.

Good bye, friend. I’ll catch up with ya on the other side brother.
Could not miss going to honor the memory of my friend Tim at the church in Sylvania today.
Tim was a “watchman on the tower” in the truest sense of the word.
To say he was a voice of reason is understated.
He was a scholar, a phenomenal teacher, generous and just plain good people.
I’m so thankful for the chance to talk to Anna and Tim’s brothers and sisters. And yeah, ya can sure tell “a Kerlin”, just couldn’t put the right name with right face. and that Kerlin smile.
So very thankful for the time I got to spend with you Karen.

Tim and Karen had tickets to see Mannheim Steamroller and he planned on trying to video it. Well, as we all know they never made the concert but this is what another person did. So enjoy and think of Tim as you listen. He loved this group, and one of the reasons is his 8th grade music teacher is involved with them. This is for you Tim and Karen:

Loki Lecturing on the Constitution at one of the Marches on DC

There will be a Memorial Service for Tim ‘Loki’ Kerlin on January 11, 2014. No details yet but time for his friends to make plans. I will update when the place and time are decided. Tim will be cremated and his ashes will stay with his wife.

Around 5am this morning, our friend Tim Kerlin passed away. Most people knew him as Loki the host of the Halls of Valhalla Network. His friends and cohosts will continue the shows until his wife decides what to do. Pray for Karen and Tim’s family at his untimely passing. He will be missed by so many people across the world.

This morning at approximately 0507, I received a call from Tim’s wife and she said that Loki had passed on to see the Lord.  I was saddened but then again, Loki is in Heaven now and one day we will see Loki standing at 7’ tall seeing that he was and still is the Giant we all knew him to be.

I wasn’t able to write anything down this morning because I was saddened by all of this wondering what Loki’s wife will do but life moves on and when we have Jesus by our side, what more can we do?

I have known Loki ever since American Truth Warriors on BTR many years ago and I have visited with he and his wife in Michigan, again, many years ago and I have been with Loki in Washington DC when we thought we were doing the right thing.

Joshua and I have prayed together for Loki’s soul and we even claimed Loki’s soul for Christ many times within the last 5 or so years and it hasn’t been but a year since we noticed the changes within Loki.  Many times Loki would “slip up” and we did notice that Loki’s attitudes had changed.  No longer was he fighting the wrong fight because he knew in his heart that the only fight worth fighting is for men’s souls.  This Loki had been doing for the last 1+ years.

Loki and his wife are my friends and I would lay down my life for either of them but now, Loki has gone and he leaves behind him the many people whose lives he has changed, even attorneys.

Loki was and still is the only Constitutional scholar I have ever known and I learned so much from him in the eight years that I have been on Blog Talk Radio with him and having the great pleasure of meeting with him in person upon many occasions.

Tim Kerlin, a.k.a. Loki 1958-2013

I have been informed by friends on Twitter and Blog Talk Radio that the BTR host known as “Loki” has suddenly passed away.  Only within the past few days did I even learn of any concerns about his health.  When I first started listening to BTR in 2008, Loki was one of four co-hosts of the show American Truth Warriors and a contributor to its related blog, A Newt One.  He also created shows entitled Halls Of Valhalla (with a co-host who similarly called himself “Tyr”) and Spin This.  Tim Kerlin was dedicated to understanding the United States Constitution and helping others do the same.  To that end, he and two co-hosts created a show (mostly on Talkshoe, but with some episodes on BTR) called Patriot’s Pub, on which they studied the creation of the Constitution during the convention in Philadelphia in 1787, but started with some historical background as far back as the French and Indian War.

I’ve just learned that we’ve lost another “Happy Warrior”. Tim Kerlin, known to his friends and Blog Talk Radio show listeners as “Loki”, passed away yesterday (Saturday, Dec. 21). Tim and his wife Karen came out to our rally on a cold, windy, and raw day in Grand Rapids, MI. I was struck by their warmth and friendliness. It was great getting to meet Tim (the man behind the mic) face-to-face and share our views on the issues as we sat bundled up against the chill and watched the rally together. Both Tim and Karen couldn’t have been nicer or more excited that we all got a chance to meet in person. I felt the same way.Tim hosted “Founding Truth of the US Constitution” on Blog Talk Radio and was considered by those who knew him to be a learned Constitutional scholar. He loved sharing his knowledge about the Constitution and our founding fathers, and was a natural teacher.The conservative world is a little darker — and sadder — today because of the loss of “Loki”. My heartfelt sympathy is extended to his wife Karen and their family. It’s never easy losing a loved one, especially at this time of year. God bless Tim “Loki” Kerlin. Remembering LOKI, Fellow Patriot and Counter-Jihadist

Tim Kerlin was a Patriot, who was taken from us suddenly this morning. A Man of conviction, who stood up for the rights of Americans, and those of us world wide. He was also instrumental in fighting The Scourge.

He was a regular Contributor at “Jihad Killer Hour,” hosted by Pat Dollard on Blog Talk Radio, where his insights were deeply absorbed, and he gave us home-work to pursue the issues of the day, and he was the creator of “Halls of Valhalla” also heard on Blog Talk Radio.

Loki was my Norse God…. He will be so deeply missed, but he walks with the Angels now. 

Loki-from-panokee, thanks so much for your presence within our Earthy realm. We will meet again, to ensure the mischief carries on, and that the lights of fire within the hearts of men continue.
