I have to say that I was a bit surprised when I saw Zuhdi Jasser’s comments in a Washington Post article, written by Jeff Stein. I didn’t think that his “moderate” Muslim movement, or for that matter any “moderate” Muslim movement was going to accomplish much these days, but I did not expect this.

Two groups representing American Muslims differed sharply Monday over revelations in The Washington Post about the sometimes-ignorant quality of local police training on radical Islam, with one group calling for a Justice Department investigation, the other saying it “is not a systematic problem.”

Zuhdi Jasser, president and founder of the American Islamic Forum for Democracy, or AIFD, based in Phoenix, Az., said he “would have problems” with the instructors cited by The Post, in particular “former Muslims who had converted to Christianity,” such as Walid Shoebat, who recommended the indiscriminate wiretapping of Islamic student groups and mosques.
Why is that Zuhdi, what is your issue with apostates of Islam? Why did you have to point out that they have left Islam, and converted to Christianity?
But “to indict a whole system for using some people who hate or fear Islam,” he said, was “wrong.”
Islam is a religion that calls for the domination of non-Muslims. What are non-Muslims supposed to like about it?
“It’s not a systematic problem,” Jasser said.
CAIR, he said, “is in denial that there is no Islamic threat…They just want to dismiss everything as Islamophobic.”
CAIR is not in denial about anything, they want Islam to dominate America.

There is a real threat from “political Islam,” added Jasser, who was a U.S. Navy doctor for 11 years, “and counterterrorism training on it is very relevant.”
The problem comes when ill-advised trainers “equate political Islam and sharia with Islam itself.”
No Jasser, the real problem is that for 1400 years most of the non-Muslim world has been tiptoeing around naming the problem. That problem is Islam itself. Are you trying to reinvent Islam (which will not happen), or just trying to cover for it? Because Islam is a complete way of life with political, and military components.

Do those verses look familiar to you Jasser? Those are laws and they are from the Koran, not some other book entitled “Political Islam”.
“If they see Islam itself as the problem, then the [training] strategy is dead in the water….It doesn’t present any type of solution.”
The reason the problem is getting worse and worse is that people do not want to name the problem, and here are some solutions. The first it to get off of Muslim oil, and then end all Muslim immigration. The second would be to officially ban Sharia Law, and then arrest and deport it if possible, Muslims who call for it. They are to be looked upon as enemies of the state, just as Nazis were. A third would be to fly Israeli officials here and learn how they deal with the threat of Islamic terrorism, at their points of transportion and other public facilities. The line of thinking that “moderate” Muslims are coming to the rescue should be put to rest already. It is nothing more than wishful thinking.

Is that so, are you the spokesperson for the Islamic world? What are your credentials, what Mosque do you lead, are you the next writer of a Hadith? Can you please point out the large Muslim anti-Sharia movement in the West? Then please explain why this poll says differently from what you claim.

Zuhdi, it is time you stop spreading misinformation. Islam is the problem, and that is what the country needs to know.
Jasser has called Israel “occupied territory”, and the information he is providing on the Islam scriptures is not even close to being true. I don’t trust him.

UPDATE: Bear this in mind: Zuhdi Jasser made a last m…inute effort to quash Geert Wilders’ appearance on Capitol Hill under the aegis of Senator Kyl, calling Kyl’s office the morning of the day Wilders was supposed to appear stating another Jasser LIE — that while Jasser had been in The Netherlands Wilders refused to meet with Jasser because Wilders quote “doesn’t meet with Muslims”. THAT NEVER HAPPENED.
