Judge blocks Manhattan DA’s move to block House Judiciary Committee subpoena of former prosecutor

A federal judge denied an effort from Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg to block a House Judiciary Committee subpoena of a former prosecutor.

District Judge Mary Kay Vyskocil ruled that former prosecutor Mark Pomerantz must testify before the committee in connection with the indictment of former President Donald Trump, CNN reported. She ruled that the subpoena has a “valid legislative purpose.”
