Kaepernick, Racism, and The False Narrative Being Pushed Forward

I watch a video recently giving a false recount of history, again.

It was about a phrase in the poem Defence Of Fort Mchenry.

The verse:
“No refuge could save the hireling and slave, From the terror of flight or the gloom of the grave”, this is used by activists to say the National Anthem is “racist”.

The fact is that over 9000 patriotic  blacks, freemen and slaves, North and South, side by side with their white patriotic brothers, volunteered and fought against the British in the American Revolution.

More than half were dedicated combat troops. They made up 4% of the fighting force.

For today’s activist to disparage the heroic acts those brave men and their families performed is just horrendous.

When men were capture, both black and white, after being tortured and starved by Britain’s forces on prison ships, daily they were offered respite, if they “turned coat” and fought for the British.

Some did, most did not. Thus they were, white and black, “hirelings and slaves” to the British Army.

This is getting very serious when American history is so distorted over political agendas that even celebrities like Colin Kaepernick spew this crazy rhetoric nonsense to youngsters.

History isn’t hard, you can find answers if you look. The problem is most are now too lazy and refuse to do it and depend on the radicals to spoon feed their veraion to you.
