Obama Doesn’t Blame Taliban In Statement On School Massacre | Truth Revolt

In his official condemnation Tuesday of the massacre in Pakistan resulting in the deaths of over a hundred high school students, Barack Obama  failed to name those responsible for the mass murder: the Taliban.

The Weekly Standard caught the glaring omission in the president’s statement, which, while condemning the “horrific attack” and vowing to continue to help Pakistan “combat terrorism and extremism,” never actually named the terrorist group:

The United States condemns in the strongest possible terms today’s horrific attack on the Army Public School in Peshawar, Pakistan.  Our hearts and prayers go out to the victims, their families, and loved ones.  By targeting students and teachers in this heinous attack, terrorists have once again shown their depravity.  We stand with the people of Pakistan, and reiterate the commitment of the United States to support the Government of Pakistan in its efforts to combat terrorism and extremism and to promote peace and stability in the region.

As the Weekly Standard points out, the Pakistani Taliban has declared responsibility for the attack. Pakistani officials say at least 126 people were murdered (more than 100 of whom were children), while 122 were injured and many were taken hostage.

Maybe Obama could suggest to them that there was a movie or reason, for their protest? Some things never change, and his lying nature is one of them.
