It never rains, but it pours. That expression just came to mind. It’s raining “things to do” and “now the next thing is.”
Two weeks ago: a panel in the Boston area.
Last week: the interview series.
In one week: Bill Warner of Political Islam.
It’s his first ever Canadian multi-city speaking tour:
Grand Prairie, Alberta – Sunday Nov 16, 3 pm
Toronto, Ontario – Monday, Nov 17, 7:30 pm
Ottawa, Ontario – Tuesday, Nov 18, 7:30 pm
Montreal, Quebec – Wednesday, Nov 19, 7:30 pm
Hamilton, Ontario – Thursday, Nov 20, 7 pm
Here are the details re the locations and topics:
The topic will vary by location.
But there’s something he will be touching on in each venue:
Bill Warner, PhD:
What do we do now?
Christian Persecution, Jewish Persecution,
Hindu, Buddhist, Sikh, Atheist, Agnostic,
Apostate Persecution …
Why? And why so much silence about it?
Where is the moral outrage?
Most of all, what do we do now?
A multi-city speaking tour in Canada – it’s a first for Bill.
It’s also the first time that I’m making arrangement for a speaker. In 2 cities – Montreal and Ottawa. I’m not entirely alone. A friend is helping a lot. And other friends are also helping. But there are so many decisions: what venue, in what part of the city, for how many people, at what cost? And then: how do we best get the word out? Whom do we know? Where can we put flyers?
If there’s any help you can give, it’s very welcome. Especially, please help get the word out, if you’re anywhere near where Bill will be speaking, or know people who are. And definitely, come and hear Bill! He’s one of the most knowledgeable people I have met, and one of the most thoughtful and kind. Over the past year his focus has shifted from facts about Islam and Islamic history, to the lack of moral outrage at the increasing religious persecution of Christians, Jews, Hindus, Buddhists, Yazidis, and on.
Here’s the page for each of the places where Bill will be speaking
I’m not on the front lines, like the people being terrorized and murdered, raped and enslaved by Islamic State. I’m not in Pakistan, where Christians are so terribly at risk. But like many of us, I want to help wake the world up to the increasing danger Islam poses. Swedish Police Lose Control Of 55 No-Go Zones To Muslim Gangs reads one headline (in the counter-jihad press). Another announces: Caliphate In Europe: Sweden Cedes Control Of Muslim Areas.
Like Bill Warner, I ask: what do we do now?
He says: time to create A Voice for the Voiceless – for those persecuted by Islam. He lives in an area where there’s a church on almost every corner. And most of the churches are silent about, not only the danger of Islam, but the persecution of fellow Christians.
If you’re anywhere nearby, come join Bill Warner in the quest for solutions.
Also, come meet Bill – one of my heroes. (I’m someone with many heroes, if you haven’t already guessed!)
And now, as always, all the best to those who care and dare,
PS. If you’re coming to the Ottawa or Montreal event, we’d love it if you pre-registered. It might give us some idea of how many people are coming. 10$ (5$ for students). Thank you.
PPS. By Tuesday, you will get a second email – with posters for Montreal and Toronto. Why not include that today? They’re not ready. No time!
PPPS. On Tuesday, I will also include access to one of the interviews with Bill Warner. He was the first person I interviewed for the first interview series. Was it a good interview? Good enough that, after it, he had the impulse to write an autobiography – but he’s been too busy.
PPPPS. I have just been asked to send a special request for any of you from Edmonton and Calgary. Please call. The request: call or write the RCMP Police commissioner and City Police commissioner in Edmonton and Calgary, and ask why they are submitting to those Muslims who are ready to do violence to Canadians by asking police officers not to wear their uniforms. The police are supposed to provide protection, yet the actions of the commissioners show they are afraid they can’t even protect the police. I will add: What will we be asked to do next? Will women be asked to stay at home unless accompanied by a male relative, to protect us from those Muslims who are against women being outside the home unaccompanied by a male relative? Where will we draw the line and stand up for our rights and freedoms!
