California Cop Killer Previously Deported Twice

The man being charged with the murder of two California Sheriff’s Deputies, had been deported from the United States on two separate occasions. Immigrations official’s released a statement on Saturday Oct. 25, 2015, stating that Luis Enrique Monroy-Bracamonte also known as Marcelo Marquez, had been deported in 1997 on a narcotics charge and again in 2001 on an undisclosed charge.
Yesterday, Bracamonte shot and killed Sacramento County Sheriff’s Deputy Danny Oliver in a motel parking lot. It is believed the Deputy Oliver and his partner were investigating a suspicious vehicle when Bracamonte opened fired, striking Deputy Oliver in the head, the Deputy was pronounced dead short time later.
Bracamonte, and his girlfriend Janelle Marquez Monroy, then fled on foot. The two then engaged in another carjacking. The victim, Anthony Holmes of Sacramento, was shot 5 times. Holmes is in serious, but stable condition.
