‘The American people want answers, accountability, and justice’
(The Blaze) – Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-S.C.), recently named the head of the select committee on Benghazi, told Greta Van Susteren on Monday that he wants to see “every single, solitary, relevant, material document” regarding the deadly 2012 terrorist attack in Libya.
Signaling a possible shift in the way Congress investigates the lingering questions about the Benghazi attacks, Gowdy said he is no longer interested in “summaries” or “synopses” produced by the Obama administration.
“I’m interested in access to the document and the witness, and I’ll decide whether or not I think the appropriate questions were asked in the past,” he said.
