Islamist groups are moving a step ahead, pushing their favored candidates in the nomination process of major Canadian political parties for the federal election of 2015. Tahir quotes a member of Jamaat-e-Islami in Canada, who expects that 8 to 10 members of the Muslim community would become Liberal Party of Canada MPs in 2015: “We want Muslims’ (read Muslim Brotherhood/Jamaat-e-Islami) representation in our parliament so that our members can watch our interests in the government.” ……..     Mr. Baird said that his country follows specific steps specially when it comes to its terrorism lists, and stressed that the inclusion of the Brotherhood on the terrorism list in Canada requires getting more information before such a decision can be made. Although Mr. Baird declared that Canada supports Egypt in its fight against terrorism, he did not clarify the sort of information his country needs for the classification of the Brotherhood as a terrorist organization”.

    That information will be from the CSIS and the Israeli Intelligence agency. There will be pictures and bios on all these moslems that are thinking of running for the Liberals in the next election. I’m sure that the Harper Gov’t. is checking into the members of the organizations also that are stated in the article…..

    Baird wouldn’t be forthcoming with information on what the Harper Gov’t. is doing…. they keep things regarding their information pretty close to the vest and would only share that info. with those they implicitly trust.
