    I don’t think so on this one. Rates have been rising for many years before high-fructose corn syrup consumption. In fact they rise higher in those women who give up drinks with high-fructose corn syrup in them.

    But how about this. The sharp rise in autism is due to ultra-sound machines. Today’s ultra-sounds are very powerful and done not just once in a pregnancy, but many times during the pregnancy. What does those ultra-high sound waves do to a developing child? Nobody has investigated this. We don’t see these rates of autism in the Third World because pregnant women don’t have access to ultra-sound machines. They do have access to high-fructose corn syrup products.
