Greatest Speech Ever My A$$! Seeing how it is being used, I would say it IS THE WORST SPEECH EVER!

adendum to comment section: You can not say this stand alone video from youtube and other venues is the greatest speech ever without ever seeing the film it came from. Maybe, in the context of viewing the ENTIRE FILM, one might make that claim. However this stand alone speech I would classify AS THE WORSE SPEECH EVER!! claming the socialist state will be the saviour of all of mankind.

This video always slays me, it is used by OWS, Paulistinians, those against the NWO ect…but here is a guy on a Hitler mustache, mock Nazi uniform talking about none other than socialism, marxism and the New World Order…people never cease to amaze me that they will fall for the most obscene bullsh!t…

I remember this clip! And, everyone in Germany raved about Hitler; at least in the beginning.

First they came for the communists,
    and I didn’t speak out because I wasn’t a communist.
Then they came for the trade unionists,
    and I didn’t speak out because I wasn’t a trade unionist.
Then they came for the Jews,
    and I didn’t speak out because I wasn’t a Jew.
    Then they came for me
and there was no one left to speak out for me.

That is Charlie Chaplan from the movie, The Great Dictator. He was against socialism and for liberty-American style. He calls for the end of dictators, for soldiers to fight for liberty, not slavery.

In the film Chaplin plays a dual role –a Jewish barber who lost his memory in a plane accident in the first war, and spent years in hospital before being discharged into an antisemite country that he does not understand, and Hynkel, the dictator leader of Ptomania, whose armies are the forces of the Double Cross, and who will do anything along those lines to increase his possibilities for becoming emperor of the world. Chaplin’s aim is obvious, and the film ends with a now famous and humanitarian speech made by the barber, “speaking Chaplin’s own words”

This is exactly how people are roped in.
Living here on earth IS for learning and challenges.
A Priest told me one time that people do not grow spiritually if they don’t have to work themselves out of their problems.
Our Spiritual Muscles shrink to nothing if we don’t grow. We can “teach others how to take care of themselves”…it is wrong to Give them everything without earning it.

Give a man a fish — you feed him for one day. Teach him to fish, and he feeds himself for the rest of his life.
