Stop the employment of foreign trespassers – Mandatory E-Verify

If the President wants to take steps to help put America’s unemployed back to work his first order of business should be to take whatever steps necessary in concert with Congress to pass a strong mandatory E-Verify Bill to prevent the hiring of illegal aliens.

The strongest E-Verify bill appears to be the Grassley Senate bill! S. 1196.

This bill is an alternative to the Lamar Smith bill (HR 2164) that has a pre-emption clause that will take away the states’ 10th Amendment right to enforce the law when the Feds don’t. Senator Grassley’s bill does not take away the States Right of enforcement.

Stop Border trespassers – Secure our borders

The next step would be to send the US Military to the border to secure our borders from foreign trespassers. Many of these invaders come to work and take jobs away from Americans. The military presence on the border would also serve to stop the incursions and territorial takeover by narco-terrorist.

Stop Visa trespassers – Visa Entry / Exit program.

A third and equally important step would be for the President and Congress to implement a working version of the Visa Entry/Exit program. Visa holders who remain in the country after their Visas expires are here illegally and should be removed.
Those who remain and seek employment obviously take jobs away from America’s unemployed. The existing Federal entry/exist program has never been successfully implemented. This should be outsourced to logistic companies like UPS or FedEx who are able to precisely track millions of packages daily.

Sen. Marco Rubio has signed on as a co-sponsor to a bill that would reauthorize the E-Verify employment check system and make it mandatory for all employers.

“I know firsthand the great things that immigration has meant for America,” Rubio said in a statement posted on his website. “Immigration is woven into the fabric of our nation and is a critical part of our future. But we can’t be the only nation in the world that does not enforce its immigration laws. Consistently, I have stated that a modernization of the legal immigration system is impossible unless we must first secure the border and implement an E-Verify system that will help prevent the hiring and exploitation of undocumented workers. That’s why I support Senator Charles Grassley’s bill to make E-Verify permanent.”

Krauthammer Slams Obama Admin’s “Lawlessness” On Immigration

“This is outright lawlessness on the part of the administration,” argued syndicated columnist Charles Krauthammer on a discussion panel with Fox News’ anchor Chris Wallace. “Whatever the politics of this, we do have a Constitution. And under it, the Legislature, the Congress enacts the laws and the executive executes them. It doesn’t make them up.

“The DREAM Act was rejected by Congress,” Krauthammer continued. “It is now being enacted by the executive, despite the express will of the Congress. That is lawless. It may not be an explicit executive order; it’s an implicit one.’

Dream Act: Obama passes amnesty by a back door ICE directive

Last Friday, with no fanfare, no press coverage, and with every effort made to hide his actions from the American people, President Obama snuck through the spirit of the DREAM Act via an ICE memo.

Opposed by a majority of the American people and twice defeated in Congress, the DREAM Act grants amnesty to any illegal alien residing in the United States if s/he agrees to enlist in the U.S. military or enter college.

Arizona Attorney General Horne:

Obama wants illegal immigrants to vote in Arizona

Tue Jun 21, 2011.

Attorney General Tom Horne accused the Obama administration Tuesday of trying to thwart Arizona’s voter-ID laws in a bid to get more illegal immigrants to the polls – presumably to cast ballots for the president and Democrats.

“President Obama’s ‘Uncle Omar’ is the face of what is wrong with the Obama administration’s lawless and dangerous approach to illegal immigration.”

Judge blocks NM governor on immigrant driver licenses

Governor Susana Martinez’s administration last month ordered the state to reverify the physical residency of foreign nationals who hold New Mexico driver’s licenses in order to get or keep their licenses.

Texas But District Court Judge Sarah Singleton in Santa Fe issued a temporary restraining order blocking the program, arguing in a brief ruling that “irreparable injury” would occur from “constitutional deprivations to the applicants.”

The Mexican American Legal Defense and Educational Fund, which had sued to block the governor’s move, welcomed the injunction as an important protection for the rights of all New Mexicans, especially those it said were unfairly targeted.,0,5627502.story

Sep. 01, 2011 By Heather Somerville / The Fresno Bee

O’Brien’s judiciary mess started with a poem printed last May in La Voz de Aztlan, an ethnic student publication distributed with the college newspaper. O’Brien took issue with language in the student-written poem, most notably the term “white savage.”
