MCRAVEN HAS LOBBIED AGAINST AN OFFICIAL RELEASE of the names of those killed in the crash, AFP reports. “He’s raised concerns and senior leaders are looking at it right now,” a senior military officer told the news agency, requesting anonymity. http://yhoo.it/mW51Tm

NAVY SEAL AARON CARSON VAUGHN, of Obion County, Tenn., had a 2-year-old son and a 2-month-old daughter. http://bit.ly/p75MgW

STEPHEN MATTHEW MILLS, from Arlington, Texas, was the leader of the SEAL team, family members said. http://bit.ly/pAASPQ

PETTY OFFICER 1st CLASS CHRIS CAMPBELL, 36, of Jacksonville, N.C., told his family he wanted donations in his name to the Wounded Warrior Project if he was killed in battle. http://bit.ly/q5wAGN

CHIEF WARRANT OFFICER DAVID CARTER, a Colorado National Guard member from Aurora, was pilot of the Chinook that was shot down. http://bit.ly/qAnG0X
