Man accused of threatening George Bush may be near plea deal

Ian Rotunno, 24, the Greece man accused of threats against former President George W. Bush, could be nearing a plea deal to resolve federal charges against him.
Rotunno was detained in October while driving to Washington, D.C. Authorities allege he’d made threats to harm Bush and was armed with a shotgun.
Secret Service agents say Rotunno told them he was simply going to fire into a reflecting pool on the National Mall, expecting police would arrest or kill him. But he added he would kill Bush with his bare hands if he could.
