Representative Trent Franks (R-AZ) may not be leading from the front, but at least he has dared to admit that if everybody was doing it, he would ‘absolutely’ agree to impeach Barack Hussein Obama and Attorney General Eric Holder over their refusal to defend The Defense Of Marriage Act (DOMA) in court.
I wish that politicians in other states would follow up on the call to impeach this Constitution-destroying White House Occupant!
Are YOU ready to begin a campaign to pressure your Representatives to call for the Impeachment of Barack Hussein Obama? I most certainly am!
Let’s compile a COMPLETE, UP-TO-DATE, REFERENCED LIST of the Obama Regime’s violations of the Constitution, including an explanation of the unconstitutionality of its actions.
But first, here’s the breaking news story (while this was first reported yesterday, it was on Alan Colmes’ blog, which nobody reads, so the news didn’t get out):
Arizona Congressman Trent Franks says President Obama should be impeached if he doesn’t reverse his stance and agree to defend Section 3 of the Defense of Marriage Act. Scott Keyes of Think Progress spoke with him at the Tea Party Patriots Policy Summit in Phoenix.
Franks advocated defunding the Department of Justice if it doesn’t defend the measure, saying, “I would support that in a moment,” adding he would “absolutely” favor impeaching President Obama and Attorney General Eric Holder if the idea of doing so “could gain collective support”
KEYES: I know Newt Gingrich has came out and said if they don’t reverse course here, we ought to be talking about possibly impeaching either Attorney General Holder or even President Obama to try to get them to reverse course. Do you think that is something you would support?
FRANKS: If it could gain the collective support, absolutely. I called for Eric Holder to repudiate the policy to try terrorists within our civil courts, or resign. So it just seems like that they have an uncanny ability to get it wrong on almost all fronts.
